Defraggler, Piriform’s free disk defragmenting utility, received an update today, to build 2.14. It is a minor release, but it adds a few new features that increase the functionality and usability of the application.

The developer added the possibility to schedule free space defragmentation tasks and single-click analysis for multiple drives. Also freshly introduced in this revision is support for UDF file systems.

Improvements are present in Defraggler 2.14, too. Searching with wildcards should work better as well as GUI navigation. The shell extension has been improved in the case of 64-bit systems.

As far as repairs are concerned, the developer informs that a minor bug causing trouble in the monthly scheduler has been removed and additional, less important (and not specified) fixes have been introduced.

Defraggler is available as a portable application on this page.
