Because the film, which is based on the popular comics “Judge Dredd,” didn't have a huge budget, most of the action takes place inside a single apartment block.
It sees 2 law enforcers (Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby) fighting their way out of said building, with a ruthless drug dealer (Lena Headey) out to get them.
The trailer includes several gorgeous scenes, specifically those that show how the drug “Slo-Mo,” which Ma-Ma sells, thus having control over the entire city, acts. It makes users experiment reality at a fraction of the normal speed.
“Dredd” is scheduled for theatrical 3D release on September 21.
