“Dredd” 3D Gets Final Poster

One of the sleeper hits of this fall might very well prove to be “Dredd,” the 3D adaptation of the “Judge Dredd” comics. A final poster for the film has been released and, as usual, you can see it in full by clicking the image above.

“Dredd” stars Karl Urban as the justiciary set out to bring order again in a world of chaos, and the first reviews for the film coming out of Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego have been nothing but praising.

In other words, this might be more than just a yet another necessary remake or failed attempt at building another franchise based on a comic book: this could actually prove a solid release.

As for the poster, we dig it: it's gloomy and apocalyptic, just like the world in which Dredd revolves and, just as importantly, it's straight to the point.

“Judgment is coming” is the perfect tagline for such a film.

“Dredd” will be released in 3D on September 21.
