You probably know from our previous coverage on Dreamlords: The Reawakening that the game is launched and ready to play in Europe, after a long beta test period. You can imagine how good the it was, since the North Americans wanted to play it, too, but they couldn't. Things will soon change, though, as the MMORTS game developed by Swedish company Lockpick Entertainment has been signed by Aeria Games to be published on the North American market.

The release of Dreamlords: The Reawakening will be, just like the European version of the game, free to play but with micro transactions implemented, which means that, using Aeria Points, you will be able to buy all sorts of things from the Item Mall. One possible bad news is the fact that the game won't be released right away, since the company feels the need to test it on the US and Canadian markets, which means that a short beta testing will begin this July (but I really mean short, ss the full game is expected to be released in August).

"We're impressed with what (Aeria Games) has done with other games in their portfolio and how they work with their community and feel they are an excellent partner for bringing Dreamlords: The Reawakening to the people," said David Ros?n, CEO of Lockpick Entertainment. In return, Spencer Chi, producer at Aeria Games, said, "For a long time, gamers have been looking for a fun MMORTS game to play, and Dreamlords answers that demand".

Dreamlords: The Reawakening is set in a ravaged world where each player controls a Dreamlord (or a celestial warlord) in a quest to restore order and peace... by the means of war. Basically a combination between the RPG and RTS genre, the game features an improved user interface with a client-based 3D Patria, some simplified rules (without ruining the game's complexity, the developers promise) and greater customization options such as different upgrades, items and gears that will boost your Dreamlord.
