Dick MacInnis proudly announced earlier today, February 24th, the immediate availability for download of the Dream Studio 11.10 operating system.

Being based on the Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) operating system, the brand-new Dream Studio 11.10 distribution has lots of new features and a beautified Unity-based desktop.

Dream Studio 11.10 is known for features like multi-user and real-time PulseAudio-integrated audio through JACK, the Cinelerra video editor, photography applications, lots of various video and audio effects, and fonts, as well as many utilities.

· Mozilla Firefox 10.0.2;
· Mozilla Thunderbird 10.0.2;
· covergloobus was replaced with Gnome-sushi for file previewing;
· Lots of updated packages and bug fixes.

The next version of the Dream Studio operating system will be based off of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) and it will be released bi-annually, with new features and rolling updates added every 6 months.

It seems well modified Ubuntu Unity distribution.

I've installed this on my desktop PC, and it runs without any issues. The icons look really slick, and it's great for Unity fans. My only complaint is that there isn't a 64 bit version.
