NINTENDO

Dream Pinball Available on Wii

- Your daily dose of nostalgia

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

Probably the Pinball machines seem to be "late-80s" for some people, but I am absolutely sure that many still find the game
extremely addictive and fun. Otherwise, SouthPeak Games wouldn't have created a new Dream Pinball 3D for the Nintendo Wii, right? And, even more, for the people who miss some good old pinball action, the game has just been released in the UK, so you might want to schedule a short visit to the nearest game store today!

Promising to be the best pinball game ever released, Dream Pinball 3D comes with striking 3D graphics, realistic ball physics and Wiimote support for you to enjoy six different themed tables, including Monsters, Aquatic and Spinning Rotors.

"With Dream Pinball 3D, our goal was to create the ultimate pinball simulator by combining realistic physics with controls that capitalize on the unique qualities of each platform," said James Seaman, Managing Director of TopWare Interactive. "We've created an awesome gameplay experience that is a blast for both hardcore and casual gamers."

Everything sounds good enough, but we just can't stop wondering how playing pinball with the Wiimote could be. You can't say something like "real simulation of a pinball game" and "Wii remote" in the same sentence because it would have no sense. Anyway... this doesn't really matter now, since it is available and a quick trip to the game shop will answer all our questions. And, even better, the Wii version is not alone - in case you prefer some more "traditional" game options for Dream Pinball 3D, you can also try the game on PCs and Nintendo DS handheld consoles. They should all be the perfect choice for fans.

"We have experience with classic bar room games and they have proven extremely popular titles with gamers," said Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak Games. "Dream Pinball delivers a dose of nostalgia along with a great price point that makes it a must-buy for any fan of the genre."
