Drayson Racing and Lola are determined to prove that the new generation of racecars can be improved, to become much more powerful and eco-friendly at the same time.

The collaboration provided encouraging results so far, as the Lola-Drayson B12/69EV has been recently introduced during the 6th MIA International Low Carbon Racing Conference.

The awesome looking 850-horsepower (640-kW) prototype, displaying a sleek design can reach a top speed of 200 mph (321km/h).

It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds and it is expected to break all records established so far by earth-friendly vehicles.

The low carbon concept will prove its super powers during the 2013 FIA Formula E series, a competition seeking to boost the popularity of electric racecars.

The spectacular B12/69EV runs entirely on clean power, so it has a minimal impact on the environment. Its developers are pleased with their fast, powerful green EV and are keen on demonstrating through tests that it has everything it needs to take low carbon racing to a whole other level.
