DrawIt is an easy-to-use, powerful image editing and drawing tool developed by Mammoet Software. The application has been specifically designed for Mac users, featuring non-destructive editing, live filters, powerful vector tools, a standard collection of basic shapes and also a clear and intuitive interface. The latest version of the powerful graphics tool adds support for a 'Ghost Mode' to speed up vector editing, Boolean operations on vectors and the ability to convert text to a vector, just to name a few.

If you need not read any more details and just try DrawIt 3.5 out, HERE's where you can download a 15-day trial version of the software.

With DrawIt ($42), you can use one of the templates to quickly create calendars, greeting cards and a lot more. Use Images, text, Bezier-curves, masks and more than forty Core Image filters to create anything. Circles, stars, rounded rectangles and polygons, these are just a few of the special shapes that can be added to your work.

Out of the box, DrawIt also includes support for an unlimited number of nested groups, masks and custom overlays. The application supports over 50, stackable, nondestructive core Image filters. Mammoet Software assures that individual properties can be freely edited, regardless of how many filters have been applied, while filter properties can be readjusted and/or reordered whenever you wish. Oh and, don't worry, the original object is never discarded.

The newly added Ghost-Mode provides users with a dedicated graphics card to speed up the process of editing of vector images. Check out the examples to the left. All of them were made using DrawIt, according to the developer. The source document for each example in part is available here.

If you manage to create a nifty example and you want to show off, getdrawit.com encourages you to send it in. You are also encouraged to report bugs, feature-requests and suggestions.
