Both games are available as free downloads via Windows Phone store

Two of the most popular games available on iOS platform, Draw Something and Words With Friends have just been launched on the Windows Phone.

However, the games are only available for Nokia Lumia devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 or Windows Phone 8.

Sadly, Lumia users report that both applications are unfortunate ports of the iOS version, lacking any original features that might suggest they are Windows Phone games.

It is also worth mentioning that Draw Something was launched in the Windows Phone store about two weeks ago, but the application was quickly pulled due to some issues.

Well, it appears that it took Nokia two weeks to fix these problems and re-release the game, which is now available for download for free. Check it out here.

The bad news is that Draw Something still suffers from issues that make it unplayable. Some Lumia users report the application gets stuck on the startup screen, while others complain the game is slow and lacks the “wow” factor to match to Windows Phone platform look.

Those who want to give it a try should know the application is not available on the Web, so they will need to download it directly on their Lumia phones.

In the same piece of news, Nokia also published the popular Words With Friends game for Windows Phone.

The application is available as a free download via Windows Phone store and it should be fully compatible with all Lumia phones running Windows Phone 7.5 and up. Check it out here.

Unfortunately, it looks like this game has similar issues as players report frequent crashes due to numerous bugs.

We’re not sure if Nokia is aware of all these bugs that make the game crash almost after every move. All in all, we hope the Finnish company will update both apps with bug fixes as soon as possible. Stay tuned for more info on the subject.
