14 DAY TRIAL // Square Enix has announced the release date for the upcoming action role-playing game Drakengard 3
To celebrate the announcement, Square Enix has also released a new trailer, featuring the game's opening movie.
The role-playing game sees players facing hordes of monsters and using the correct weaponry to vanquish their foes in intense combo-based hack and slash battles.
Drakengard 3 has been designed as a prequel to the original Drakengard game, taking players on an exciting journey through a medieval world of fantasy that suddenly falls into chaos when one of the six goddesses who maintain peace by channeling the realm's magic through song attempts to murder her younger sisters.
The game will only be released as digital download in Europe and PAL territories, but the North American version will also feature a physical issue.
Drakengard 3 is scheduled for release for the PlayStation 3 console in Europe and PAL territories on May 21, 2014.
