14 DAY TRIAL // The big news this week is the fact that Rihanna and Drake have decided to give it another shot, after their fiery yet short-lived romance at the beginning of the year. Just like a firework, their romance was very bright but it died out soon after it reached its maximum temperature. Will this time be for keeps?
As Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran have decided to put their differences aside and strike up another relationship, Rihanna also did a one eighty and came back to the same man that she dumped in spring after she couldn't keep her hands off him.
The Bajan singer was spotted at a Drake concert sitting in the front row and cheering the artist on stage frantically, showing definite support, despite the fact that they were, for all accounts and purposes, not speaking to each other.
Earlier last week, the two were spotted partying at the same club in New York, and although they made their exits separately, the media speculated they were getting back together. Now Hollywoodlife claims the two have rekindled their romance.
One insider is quoted as saying that Drake realized he missed her “terribly” and also that the “thrill” of being with her. “He wants the thrill right now and if Rihanna allows it, he’s in,” says the source adding “He’s not trying to get serious. They’ve both learned that isn’t possible, at least not right now.”
So basically, Drake just wants another shot as bedding Rihanna, but he's making it seem like they are a couple. Either way, he's currently extending the proverbial olive branch at Rihanna and she doesn't seem to mind, quite the contrary, she's intrigued.
This entire thing reeks of deja-vu, both Rihanna and Drake acting like there was never any love lost between them, which is a bit of a head-scratcher, considering that they didn't part on the best of terms.
One problem for Drake is going to be the fact that Rihanna isn't looking for an affair, she's looking for a relationship, especially now that her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Chris Brown, is just about ready to settle down with Karrueche Tran, even talking about a possible pregnancy.
Just listen what the insider says, “[Drake] knows Rihanna wants more, he’s aware of that and that’s one of the reasons the relationship didn’t work in the first place.” Drake better get with the program, or he's going to find himself out of Rihanna's bed yet again.
