Video game developer and publisher Capcom has released another trailer for its upcoming action role-playing game Dragon’s Dogma, which is designed to show the player base exactly what it can do with the Pawn system.

The mechanics allows players to lend out their own companion characters and get replacements from other players, allowing them to explore other game worlds and return with better skills and important game information.

The idea is to allow players to engage in a social experience in what is essentially a single-player role-playing game.

Dragon’s Dogma will tell the story of a young protagonist who has his heart ripped from his chest by an ancient dragon, which leads to a quest that involves saving the world.

Dragon’s Dogma will be launched on the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft on May 22 in North America and three days later in Europe.
