Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 Unlockables and Hints (DS)

Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 is a video game based on the popular anime series Dragon Ball Z. Supersonic Warriors 2 is a sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors and was developed by Cavia and published by Atari for the Nintendo DS. It was released in 2005. Story Mode in Supersonic Warriors 2 consists of a board game-like adventure. In this mode, you enjoy an individual character's story as Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks, Goten, Ginyu, Frieza, Dr. Gero, Android #18, Cell, Buu, Cooler, and Broly travel around the 155 different levels defeating enemies. There are adapted and original "what-if" storylines that allow characters to power up.

This game profited from the huge popularity that this franchise has everywhere around the world, being one of the few anime series which enjoyed success not only in Japan. It had very big sales and brought Atari, its publisher, back from the very troubled times it had. The game was followed by other titles developed exclusively for the DS like Dragon Ball Z: Harukanaru Densetsu and many more, which also helped boost the sales of Nintendo's handheld console. UNLOCKABLES

Extra Support

Complete any of the indicated tasks to get an Extra Support. 
At the main menu, go to the options and view the credits. After all of the credits are done, wait a short time. The music should still be playing and you should still be at the credits screen. When the music stops, a box will appear on the screen stating "Support character increased by 1".

Complete every level in all characters' storyline. This will take some time, but is worth it to anyone who likes to use supports.

Complete Z Battle mode. 

Complete all the exercises in the tutorial.

HINTS

Defeating Ultimate Goku

Choose SS Goku, Majin Vegita, and Bardock as a team for the best results. Use Goku first. Keep blasting him. Every time your energy level starts to go down too far, use Bardock and keep blasting. Eventually, he will get around. However by the time he does that you will already have him down far. When your life gets into the red, use Goku's ultimate attack. If Goku dies, try the same technique with Majin Vegita. If you do not get it, try again.

Super throw

When doing a throw, press R to do a super throw. It is like a new special and will take 50% energy.
