Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a videogame developed by Spike Co. Ltd. for Atari Europe. It was created for the PlayStation 2 console from Sony and also for the Nintendo Wii and released on November 9, 2007. The game is classed as an action fighting title played from a third person perspective and has been influenced by the anime and manga franchises it is based on.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a pure fighting game that includes the most important battles of the popular manga created by Akira Toriyama. There are more than 162 characters that the player can select their champion from before heading off to try the various game modes. One of the most important additions to the series is complex weather effects that can be enabled in all the game's stages, allowing it to be that much closer to the original vision of its creators.
Other additions to Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 include a variety of fresh moves and fusions, Battle Replay, which allows players to save their fights and re-experience them, and a whole new Disc Fusion mode, permitting to combine this game with Budokai Tenkaichi and Budokai Tenkaichi 2. The player can also control the Giant Apes that the Saiyans possess.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the last game in the series released and the first one to benefit from the motion tracking of the Nintendo Wii.
