Anime fighting fans have a reason to get out the root beer and celebrate as Atari revealed that work on Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is finished.

The Nintendo Wii version of the game has finally gone gold and it will be available at the launch of the new console scheduled for November 19. Of course this news is about the US version, so European fans will have to wait some more.

DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi will have an impressive range of fighters, as 120 playable characters will be available. These characters will fight on 16 3D environments, and some nine single-player and multiplayer modes will be featured.

The list of playable characters is quite long featuring several version of the same fighter, for example Goku will have 7 versions, including an infantile version of himself- Kid Goku. Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Vegeta, Trunks, Hercule, Nappa, Frieza, Saibaman, Android 19 and many more will be present in the game. You will be able to select each of them and then learn their moves by heart.

By far, the most popular character of the game will be Goku as the whole Dragon Ball Z franchise centers around him and his adventures.
