BioWare might be busy revealing the characters that players will be able to interact with in the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition, but they are also offering fans of the series a glimpse into how the new game is created via a series of more light-hearted videos.

Alix Wilton Regan, who is providing the female voice for the main character, is shown in the studio, recording lines for the character, demonstrating how some effects are created and showing "her method for producing convincing spit takes. There are certain things you just can't fake in the booth, and this is one of them."

Dragon Age: Inquisition will allow gamers to play as a Qunari for the first time in the series, and fans can also choose to be a human, a dwarf, or an elf, both male and female.

The development team at BioWare says that these initial choices will have an impact on how the game world reacts for the player, but will not influence the core storyline of the title.

Gamers will have to use their abilities and a range of new characters in order to stop demons from pouring through a magically created breach in the Veil that separates the Fade from the human world.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be launched on October 7 on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and current-gen consoles.
