Dragon Age: Inquisition is just a few months away from launch and the team at BioWare wants gamers to be prepared for a tactical role-playing game in which it’s very important to try and conserve health because defensive abilities will be more prevalent that healing ones.

Daniel Kading, one of the developers working on the title, tells the official site that, “Mana and stamina regenerate. Health does not, requiring you to be careful about overextending yourself in your adventures. Potions are your primary method of healing in the field, though there are a few rare abilities that can be used tactically to regain health.”

The mage followers in the game are designed to offer tactical support to their teammates, deliver damage to enemies and to protect the party using powerful abilities like barrier.

Kading says that healing by magical means will be limited because the team wants gamers to think more about how they approach combat and how they can efficiently use their characters.

Cross-class combos are also returning to Dragon Age: Inquisition and offer players options to quickly take out enemies and minimize the damage they receive.

The new title will be out on November 18 on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and last-gen consoles.
