The team wants players to have more options for their party

The flow of details about Dragon Age: Inquisition continues with a look at the battle mechanics that will coming the new role playing game and how they are inspired by both previous titles in the series.

BioWare talks about the lessons it has learned by creating two Dragon Age titles and about the feedback coming from the player community.

The team also explains that they want to create combat sequences that give the player options when it comes to tactics but never feel too action focused.

The game is also designed to offer more lore and narrative, making each battle more important to the overall fate of the game world.

The story will involve a tear in the Fade and an effort to unite opposing factions to deal with it.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is projected to launch at some point in the fall of next year on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
