The development team at BioWare has already given fans of the new Dragon Age: Inquisition a lot of information about the game, but with months to go before launch, the studio is also ready to detail the various abilities that character classes can bring to the fight.

This time, the company reveals that the Mage will be able to attack using Flashfire, Mind Blast, Winter’s Grasp, and Lightning Bolt.

BioWare is at the moment only talking about the low level attacks, but the coming game will also include a range of more powerful spells, some of them designed to take out groups of enemies and others that can take out one single powerful target.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be unique in the series because most mages will have limited healing abilities and gamers will have to rely on their defensive abilities and on solid use of potions in order to keep everyone alive through combat.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and last-gen consoles on November 18.

Gamers will have to create a character and recruit a party in order to close down the tear in the Veil which allows Fade demons to come into the world of humans and cause havoc, using classic turn-based battles and role-playing techniques.
