BioWare officially confirms the resolution figures for its upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition role-playing game, as the title runs at a native 1080p full HD resolution on the PS4 and at 900p on the Xbox One.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is among the biggest role-playing games set to debut this fall, and the hype surrounding the new BioWare title is already reaching critical mass, thanks to many different live gameplay demonstrations made by the developer each week.

Now, after showcasing some more details and footage, BioWare confirms on Twitter some more technical info about Dragon Age: Inquisition, confirming that it runs at a native resolution of 1080p on the PS4 and at 900p for the Xbox One.

As an extra jab at Ubisoft and its latest controversy surrounding Assassin's Creed Unity and the fact that it runs at 900p and 30fps on both new consoles, BioWare adds that "we maximized the current potential of each platform."

The framerate figures are unclear right now, so it's unknown if the open world RPG is going to run at 60fps or 30fps on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launches next month across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms around the world. Expect to hear more details about its performance soon enough.
