Even more details about the Skyhold castle home base in Dragon Age: Inquisition have been shared by BioWare, as the studio has revealed the many zones included in the large environment and what players can do in each of them.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is set to debut in November and developer BioWare has confirmed on multiple occasions that players are going to engage in a sprawling quest to save the virtual world of Thedas from an ancient evil by forming an Inquisition and traveling throughout the land.

Of course, seeing as how the player, controlling the Inquisitor, will be forming his own faction, a home base is required and BioWare is going to offer such a thing in the form of Skyhold, an ancient castle that's been derelict for quite some time, but thanks to the efforts of the player, is coming back to its older glory.

Skyhold is a big castle with many areas

Now, BioWare's Cameron Lee has revealed even more details about the big castle on the official website, confirming that players can explore it however often they like and choose all sorts of things in various zones and rooms.

"You are free to return to and explore Skyhold as often as you like, which means you can talk to all of your followers and major characters you've recruited into the Inquisition. Many of these major characters have their own rooms that reflect their role in the Inquisition."

"There are also minor characters for you to engage with: merchants, stablemasters, barkeeps, researchers, blacksmiths, enchanters, and other interesting and diverse people who look to you for leadership."

Key areas include the tavern as well as the crafting rooms

Among the most important areas of Skyhold are the tavern, where players can have a drink with their allies and learn more about them, a dungeon for captured enemies, as well as a library or a garden, where players can learn new things and cultivate plants needed for potion crafting.

Of course, the crafting rooms are also key, as players can visit them and engage in all sorts of activities before heading out on a mission.

"When you're ready for another adventure or battle, you may want to visit the crafting rooms to forge, enchant, or upgrade armor and weapons. You also can brew potions and poisons at the crafting table. Next, walk over to the stables where you can pick which mount you'll ride on your adventure."

Dragon Age: Inquisition is set to debut later this fall for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
