Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer is one of those games that your would expect to be perfect considering that it was developed by the same company that made the awesome Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, but those who play it on a regular basis know that’s not the case.

Since the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the game received a few updates and some of them were specifically focused on the multiplayer part. We now have events each week that offer rewards to those achieving them.

On the other hand, we have connection issues and game breaking bugs, which have yet to be addressed by Bioware. Although developers have promised they will fix these issues, they still affect the game like a plague.

One of the game breaking bugs many players have encountered at least once is the key drop issue. How does this affect your gameplay experience in Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer?

Well, it’s pretty simple: an item, in this case a key, which is required in order to advance to the next location doesn’t drop as it should.

Many other bugs still need to be fixed

This means that you will be stuck on current level without any chances of finishing that multiplayer session. The only thing you and your co-op buddies can do is to exit the game.

The issue has been acknowledged by EA and Bioware a few weeks ago, perhaps more, but a fix hasn’t been released yet. However, it appears that EA has finally informed Dragon Age: Inquisition players that a fix for this game breaking will soon be released.

Here is the company’s full statement regarding the issue: “we're working on a fix for the key drop issue in multiplayer that should resolve the vast majority of these instances. This fix will be included as part of a larger upcoming patch for Dragon Age: Inquisition.”

EA also states that it will provide more details on when the update will be available at a later date. Info on the changes included in the update will be disclosed on the same date.
