There are rewards for players who perform well

The development team at BioWare is announcing that it is introducing a new multiplayer event for Dragon Age: Inquisition, which is asking all those who are playing the mode to loot as many chests as possible during the weekend.

The community has until Monday, January 26 at 5 AM Pacific Standard Time to complete the missions, which is to loot 250,000 chests on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC and the much lower number of 37,500 on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

For each players engaged in the multiplayer mode of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the goal is to be involved in a party which manages to open 24 chests.

The official announcement offers an in-game reason for the goals, stating, "Every agent is needed to harass enemy supply lines. Bring back whatever can be salvaged and destroy anything that can't. Agents who do well will be rewarded. We will have plenty of plunder to go around, after all."

The mission comes from Leliana.

A successful player will get a Commendation Chest, and if the community also manages to reach its own goal, a Victory Chest will also be delivered.

Dragon Age: Inquisition might get more multiplayer DLC

Ever since the role-playing game was first introduced, the developers at BioWare have said that they are planning to introduce regular events in order to keep multiplayer interesting and that they also have plans to expand the mode with downloadable content packs.

The community has been reporting some bugs linked to the multiplayer that have not been fixed despite the fact that three patches have already been detailed for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

The most recent update is supposed to make sure that more banter takes place between the included characters.

It's unclear whether the developers also have plans to expand the single-player experience using DLC.

The missions system in Dragon Age: Inquisition is well developed and there are plenty of ways for BioWare to add more interesting side-quests and to give gamers a chance to explore new areas and to get access to more lore associated with the universe.
