The first single-player story DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition, called Jaws of Hakkon, has just received its first gameplay video, in order to celebrate the arrival of the expansion onto PC and Xbox One today, March 24.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launched back in November of last year and gave players a sprawling single-player story campaign to explore on their own, not to mention a pretty intense multiplayer mode that they could embark on with up to three of their friends.

While the first DLC was the Destruction pack for the online mode, the first story-based DLC, called Jaws of Hakkon, is now rolling out onto the PC and Xbox One platforms worldwide.

Jaws of Hakkon now has an official gameplay video

While earlier today we heard some details, the official gameplay video for Jaws of Hakkon has just been revealed by BioWare.

In the footage below, you can admire the huge new zone that can be explored by players in the DLC, not to mention the new Avvar tribe they'll meet, called the Jaws of Hakkon. The new enemies look quite imposing and it seems that players will also get to interact with another faction that inhabits that area of the Thedas.

According to the previous details, players will explore the end of the previous Inquisitor and unravel the mystery of the new region and the imposing menace it poses for the rest of Thedas.

The ending sequences also show the final boss fight, which sees players take on an ancient dragon in a pretty epic brawl.

Check out the video below and download the Jaws of Hakkon DLC for 15 USD/EUR right now on PC and Xbox One. The PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 debut of the add-on is expected to take place soon enough, but BioWare has offered no actual details about the DLC coming to those platforms just yet.
