October was already a very crowded month, so the change is likely for the better

Dragon Age: Inquisition has had several delays up until now, and now developer BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts have announced that it's being pushed back once more, to November.

The developers have announced that the game will arrive a month and a half later than its initial release date of October 7, which is still an improvement over the last time the game was delayed, as its first release window was during the fall of 2013.

Executive Producer Mark Darrah has explained that the team needs more time to eliminate bugs and polish the game, and that although the extra few weeks may not seem like a lot, he is confident that the game will end up noticeably better.

"This last bit of time is about polishing the experience we want you to see. Ensuring that our open spaces are as engaging as possible. Strengthening the emotional impact of the Hero's choices. And ensuring the experience you get is the best it can be in the platform you choose to play on," Darrah has said in a statement.

The role-playing game will be the biggest yet in the series, with a lot of characters to meet and a lot of stories to tell, as well as with a focus on open-world exploration rather than following a linear narrative.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming out on November 18 in North America, and November 21 in Europe, for the Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.
