Video game developer BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts are launching a new contest linked to their upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition, which is designed to allow a lucky player to actually lend his or her voice to one of the characters from the new role-playing game.

All those interested need to navigate to the official contest page on the BioWware blog and then download the two scripts that the team made available.

After that, fans need to create a movie of themselves reading the lines using their natural voice, with no distortion or effects.

All entries need to be delivered to BioWare before April 14, and the studio will then announce a winner who will be flown to the company in order to record his line and meet some of the developers of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

The contest seems to be part of a wider initiative meant to reconnect the team with the fan community, which also included the launch of detailed character info for both Varric and Cassandra, that can be used by cosplayers.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be launched during the fall of this year on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, using tactics and role-playing as core mechanics and with a story centered around Orlais and the Fade.
