A Dragon Age 2 official announcement may be just one day away, according to a BioWare Twitter post. The latest tweet on the Biofeed states that “2morrow will be a great day for BioWare fans. Just sayin'.” The only BioWare game that we know as being in development and featuring the number two in the title is Dragon Age 2, making it likely to be the company's next big reveal.

Furthermore, the press release that advertised the transfer of WAR European management from GOA to BioWare Mythic had the following line about EA's RPG developer: “Currently announced projects at BioWare include the development of ongoing downloadable content for Mass Effect 2, one of the highest rated video games of all time, Dragon Age 2, the highly anticipated sequel to 2009's ‘RPG of the Year’ Dragon Age: Origins, and the story-driven massively multiplayer online game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.”

Many knew about this game for a long time, but the official unveiling that is about to happen is good news anyway, because it means more information will finally be available. The only piece of information we have on this title is a promise from Greg Zeschuk - this sequel will look much better, as the developer is currently revamping the technology fueling Dragon Age 2's graphics.

In addition to that, Electronic Arts and BioWare have not been shying away from teasing a possible release date for Dragon Age 2. Earlier this year, EA announced that a Dragon Age followup would come early in the spring of 2011. Later on, the Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening expansion pack contained a flyer teasing the 1st of February 2011 as the launch date for the next big Dragon Age title. We'll be sure to come back with fresh information when EA releases something official on the subject.
