Halloween may be over, but Google's not done with the scary doodles. It's now running a Bram Stoker doodle celebrating his best known work, Dracula. The novel that gave birth to the popular character and to the modern vampire myths is now regarded as a classic.

It's the novel that Google used as an inspiration for the doodle, with Dracula himself taking center stage along with his castle. Other characters from the book also make an appearance in the old fashion looking doodle.

Clicking on the doodle leads to a search for "Bram Stoker," not the novel. While the novel wasn't considered a sensation in its time, it became increasingly popular and well known as more people read it or found out about it.

The various film adaptations and countless reimaginings of count Dracula have also contributed to the book's notoriety.
