Reaction to the clip ranges from sadness to hysterical laughter

In case you didn't know, there's a new vampire movie coming out sometime in 2012. Directed by Dario Argento, “Dracula 3D” is a retelling of Bram Stoker's novel – in 3D, of course.

The first teaser trailer is now out (most likely leaked) and reaction to it online ranges from utter disbelief to sadness and hysterical laughter.

Even trying to ignore the fact that the audio might be only temporary and that the special effects are not completed, there's really nothing that can redeem this film: the acting seems incredibly staged, the plot is a mess and the characters are mere caricatures of what we've already seen in older, better movies.

“Dracula 3D” stars Rutger Hauer, Asia Argento, Thomas Kretschmann and what looks like a praying mantis. Yes, a praying mantis in a Dracula movie.

The trailer is not meant to get an audience, but a distribution since it seems no one has dared pick it up for release just yet. Even so, Argento hopes it'll be out sometime in 2012.
