Dr. Conrad Murray, the personal physician that administered Propofol to Michael Jackson and was with him in the house on the night he slipped into a coma and never woke up, will be charged with involuntary manslaughter today. In the meantime, the doctor is spending his time with his attorneys and, as TMZ can confirm, recollecting himself at Michael Jackson’s tomb.

Since Dr. Murray himself confirmed to police officers that he had given Michael the powerful anesthetic along with several other drugs on the night of his death, he was the main suspect all along, as we also reported last summer. Similarly, since both Michael’s family as well as other health specialists insisted that Dr. Murray should have never prescribed so many drugs to the singer because, in doing so, he deliberately encouraged his addiction, it was only to be expected that he be held responsible for his death.

In the meantime though, the doctor has stepped out of his hiding to visit the one place few actually expected to see him at: Michael Jackson’s tomb. “With charges in the death of Michael Jackson looming over his head, Dr. Conrad Murray sought out peace in an unlikely location – Jackson’s final resting place. Murray showed up at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday afternoon to visit the tomb of the man he may or may not have accidentally killed. Murray was seen outside the mausoleum, but not inside,” TMZ writes.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the (first) man to be charged in the death of the legendary singer was very loved both by Michael himself and his three children. He was almost a fixture at the mansion, sometimes coming to visit almost daily or for longer periods of time. Ironically enough, despite this close friendship with Michael and having practices in several cities, he was in financial trouble, with an outstanding student loan sending creditors to his door.

As his attorney put it, Dr. Murray’s is truly a “fall from grace,” since Michael’s death was only the beginning of trouble for him. Said trouble will climax with him being charged with involuntary manslaughter, with word in the media saying he’s to post bail and then walk out of the court room until the next hearing.
