As his attorneys are preparing the appeal to the guilty sentence to the involuntary manslaughter charge, Dr. Conrad Murray, the man responsible for Michael Jackson's death, is still on suicide watch, it has emerged.

Murray was taken to jail immediately after his verdict was read a few days ago and, though many presumed he was kept on suicide watch as a precaution, it turns out things are more serious than they appeared to be.

TMZ reports that Murray has been telling friends and associates he has lost all will to live and will most likely take his own life the moment he gets a chance.

Consequently, he's on strict watch. Authorities can't comment on Murray's state because such information is confidential, the aforementioned celebrity e-zine writes.

“Dr. Conrad Murray has been telling people who have visited him in jail... he no longer has the will to live and he wants to kill himself,” TMZ writes.

Admittedly, Murray never thought he'd be found guilty of manslaughter, so the verdict came as a complete shock to him.

“We're told Murray cannot cope with the fact that he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, and even though his lawyers told him he needed to be prepared for the possibility of a guilty verdict, it never computed with him,” says the e-zine.

It's as if Murray is preparing everyone in his life for what's coming next, TMZ hints.

“Sources tell us, Murray has told various people he wanted to kill himself, including baby mama Nicole Alvarez, his bodyguard Jeff and his lawyers. He's told all of them he's lost his will to live,” writes the e-zine.

“We've also learned Murray remains in the medical ward at L.A. County Jail, which is where he's been for more than a week,” adds TMZ.

Other than the suicidal thoughts, Murray has no other physical ailments.

Dr. Conrad Murray was Michael Jackson's personal physician. The singer died under his care and supervision from an overdose of Propofol, a powerful anesthetic that Murray administered to him.
