Dr. Conrad Murray cries crocodile tears in post-jail interview on Michael Jackson’s death

After his first post-jail interview with the Daily Mail, Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor who was trialed and sentenced for his part in Michael Jackson’s death, spoke with 60 Minutes Australia to further try to defend his reputation by claiming his innocence.

This interview is even more infuriating than the first, as the video embedded below can confirm.

Murray still argues that he was Michael’s closest and truest friend and, to prove that, he says they still speak even though, as fans are painfully aware, the singer died in 2009 of Propofol acute intoxication, for which Murray was directly responsible because he administered to him.

“The last time Michael spoke to me was the day the verdict came from the civil trial. Michael touched me, he put his hands on my shoulder and he speaks to me. He does,” Murray claims. However, he won’t reveal what they talk about, saying that “It’s too emotional to go into at this time.”

Murray takes zero responsibility in Michael’s death, saying that nothing he gave him should have caused it and still insisting that, in the 2 minutes he was out of the room, the singer woke up from his drug-induced sleep, injected himself with the powerful anesthetic and then fell asleep again and then went into cardiac arrest.

He also tries to explain why he was giving Jackson Propofol in the first place, and it’s something right out of The Twilight Zone.

“Michael Jackson is not a guy you can just say ‘stop it.’ Michael Jackson had a lot of doctors who treated him with Propofol. Conrad Murray was a doctor that treated Michael with Propofol but with the intention of getting Michael to understand, ‘I do not want you using this substance again’ and I succeeded,” he says.

He remains oblivious to the fact that his idea of “success” means Michael died, as the interviewer also points out.

Perhaps even more infuriating is the fact that Murray is dropping hints and, dare we say, making threats about “revelations” he could make that would “shatter the world” when confronted about his reckless and unprofessional behavior in supplying a man he knew was addicted to drugs with the drugs of his choice.

Towards the end of the interview, he hints once more at said “revelations” when asked if he thought there was any truth to the child abuse allegations made about Michael. While watching the video, bear in mind that this is the same guy who says, with crocodile tears in his eyes, “I love Michael. I love Michael Jackson, I love him. I was his closest friend.”

It’s no wonder Michael’s fans are completely disgusted by the interview – and taking their feelings of outrage online.

The full interview isn’t available yet, but rest assured you’ll find out more about it when it comes out.
