Dr. Conrad Murray was in court again a few hours ago, to be sentenced in the case of Michael Jackson's death, in which he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. He was sentenced to a maximum of 4 years.

Judge Michael Pastor literally threw the book at Murray, giving him the maximum sentence and a severe reprimand for his deed and the way he behaved – publicly – after Michael's death of Propofol overdose, which the doctor administered to him.

One thing that particularly upset Judge Pastor was Murray's decision to make a documentary while preparing to stand trial for Michael's death, in which he repeatedly tries to lay all the blame on the singer himself, TMZ reports.

Murray is often heard saying on the NBC documentary that he “did nothing wrong,” but, at the end of the day, he did everything wrong because he offered drugs to Michael only because he was willing to pay for them, the Judge said.

The doctor was irresponsible and put money above a patient's care – and for that, he must pay, Pastor stressed.

“Yipes! Talk about blaming the victim. Not only isn't there any remorse, there is umbrage and outrage on the part of Dr. Murray against the decedent,” the Judge said about Murray's documentary.

“He has absolutely no sense of remorse, absolutely no sense of fault and is and remains dangerous,” Pastor stressed, calling Murray's actions in Michael's case “horrible medicine.”

Pastor sentenced Murray to the maximum 4 years, though other two options included 2 and 3 years behind bars.

Nevertheless, the doctor will not serve the time at the state prison but at the LA County Jail.

Speaking about the sentence, Katherine Jackson, the late singer's mother, said that 4 years was “not enough,” adding that, “Four years won't bring my son back.”

However, Mrs. Jackson did say that Judge Pastor had been “fair” in his sentencing.
