There were at least two dozen people who didn't have a very good night when they went out to the Keith Urban concert in Massachusetts last Saturday night. The country singer's gig ended up with a number of people in the audience going to the hospital because of alcohol-related ailments.

NME reports that the Australian country singer was present at the Xfinity Center in Mansfiled on July 26 and he got crowds really riled up, since 22 people had to leave the show early because they were taken to the hospital.

The town's fire and police departments explained that ambulances from five nearby communities had to be called in to cope with the large number of people in need of medical attention.

Apart from those that went to the hospital, there were over 50 people taken into custody by police, due to what officers described as “alcohol related issues.” Basically, they got drunk and disorderly.

After the concert was over, Urban tweeted a video message thanking those fans that came out to see him play. He failed to mention the incident and just said, “What a great night tonight. It was killer. Gosh, up on the lawn tonight, that was nutso. It was so cool.”
