The development for uTorrent 3.1.2 has entered release candidate stage recently, with two RCs being rushed out in the past two days.

The first release candidate, made available on January 30, took care of some issues regarding various asserts, such as adding torrents with labels or ratings and fixed a DHT issue where the application would return peers for non-existent torrents.

In RC2 (uTorrent 3.1.2 build 26705), the developer eliminated a bug that would cause uTorrent to crash when setting the download location on a magnet link. There were also some problems with shutting down the machine upon completion of the task at hand.

For the users of the Plus version of the torrent client, the developer fixed the problem with the antivirus failing to update or scan properly in some cases.
