The new Facebook Messenger 1.5.002 was made available for download via the Android Market and offers users the possibility to view who is online and who uses the mobile application.
Moreover, it offers new ways of composing messages and staying in touch with friends and family over the social networking site, and also provides users with a series of performance enhancements.
Among the new features that the application was packed with, we can also count the ability to view when the other person is typing. The new app flavor also comes along with support for 22 languages.
These updates were made only to the Facebook Messenger app, while the official Facebook client for Android was not affected.
