14 DAY TRIAL // It is really nice to see that the new GeForce/ Verde display drivers just released by Nvidia bring a lot of nifty features to the existing games; even more, with an up to 20% performance boost for Skyrim, these drivers seem to be a definitive must.
The highlight of this release is the enhanced performance upgrade with GeForce 400 and 500 series cards. Compared to the scores obtained with the old 296.10 WHQL-ed drivers, the 301.42 seem to bring a breath of fresh air to gaming for the owners of 400 and 500-series GPUs. The performance increase varies accordingly to the system configuration.
Version 301.42 also brings support for the GeForce GTX 690, GTX 680, GTX 670 and GT 600-series GPUs, while a lot of gaming titles receive either Nvidia SLI or 3D Vision profiles. For a complete list of these profiles, please check the individual download page for your suitable driver.
Installing the Nvidia GeForce/ Verde display drivers 301.42 will also update the PhysX System Software to version 9.12.0213, the HD audio driver to version 1.3.16.0 and offer support for OpenCL 4.2.
