We're happy to be able to deliver you the latest firmware for Creative's pocket-size camera series codenamed Vado. The firmware for the standard Vado camera has now reached version 1.1.9.0 and comes with several improvements.

First of all, the new software will shorten the power on response time, while offering a higher audio level for the video playback. The overall video quality has also been improved and the Settings menu has received the "TV System" option, letting you choose between the NTSC or PAL formats.

The Vado HD, both first and 2nd generation camera firmware 1.2.5.0 has gotten a number of fixes and now the device won't stop responding during fast forward or rewind commands. At the same time, filming in low-light conditions will not make the the video "jerky" as reported. Finally, the "Play All" function now works even if you have more than 255 recorded videos.

The firmware for the HD version is also available for Mac OS; you can now download the suitable Creative Vado pocket camera firmware for your device and start enjoying it even more. We'll post firmware for the 3rd generation as soon as it surfaces.
