Additionally, users can now invite friends to join Twitter from within the app, and Vine playback has been improved. When you reply to a retweet, the service now includes both the author and the person who retweeted the Tweet.
Lastly, an onslaught of bug fixes has been included so you can enjoy “a smoother experience,” according to the developers.
Twitter’s system requirements on Apple’s mobile platforms remain intact. Users only require iOS 5 and any iDevice that supports the firmware.
In related news, Twitter also updated its Vine app recently, adding support for the iPhone’s front-facing camera and the ability to mention people in posts and comments.
