14 DAY TRIAL // DIRECTV Inc. has released updated versions of its iPhone and iPad clients adding some nifty new features and enhancements to the portable television app.
iPad users updating to version 1.10.5 will see an enhanced Social TV module which allows them to comment on friends’ check-ins and shares, as well as view their history to see their tastes in programs.
A brand new On Demand button on the remote gives users instant access to DIRECTV On Demand listings on their set, and the Miso sharing feature has been removed. The app also boasts HD graphics for iPads with Retina display.
On the iPhone and iPod touch (version 2.4.3.), the developers were able to resolve some issues with setting recordings. Other bug fixes are included as well.
