AMD has just released a new graphics driver from the Catalyst series, namely the 13.12. This version comes with a handful of fixes and additions and is supported by Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 OSes, 32- and 64-bit versions.

The release notes debut by mentioning the added support for Radeon R9 290 and 280 Series, as well as for the Radeon R7 260, 250, and 240 Series, these being AMD's latest releases in terms of graphics adapters.

CrossFire scaling has been improved for Call of Duty: Ghosts (multiplayer component), Splinter Cell Blacklist, Saints Row 4, and Metro Last Light, and new Enduro profiles have been added for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Need for Speed Rivals, Total War: Rome 2, Battlefield 4, Saints Row 4, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and FIFA 14.

The “Resolved Issues” section mentions fixes for the intermittent crashes seen in legacy DirectX 9 applications, incorrect HDMI Audio Driver information being listed in the AMD Catalyst Control Center, or graphics corruption issues found in Starcraft.
