Microsoft recently launched Office for iPad and although some people said that Redmond is actually late to the party, the built-in apps, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are quickly catching on and are now leading the top free downloads in the App Store.

To make sure that everyone manages to make the most of Office for iPad without spending too much to search the Internet, Microsoft recently launched the Office for iPad Product Guide, which is a PDF document containing information about all available features for those who install the app on their tablets.

“Now your Microsoft Office documents look better than ever on iPad! The Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps have the familiar Office look and feel along with an intuitive touch experience, so you’ll be up and running in no time. With the free apps, you can read Word documents, use Excel data and present with PowerPoint. With an Office 365 subscription, you can edit and create new documents with the iPad. Download the Office for iPad Product Guide to learn more,” Microsoft says in the description of the product guide.

Office for iPad is completely free if you only want to view documents on the tablet, but for editing features you'll have to purchase an Office 365 subscription.

In the end, this new document released by Microsoft should clearly come in handy to Apple users, so download the Office for iPad Product Guide to learn everything about the new productivity suite.
