The new system software brings fixes for important errors

Microsoft's Xbox 360 gaming console receives new firmware which promises to solve some of the errors reported by users.

Namely, Microsoft has received complaints regarding the dashboard themes, avatars and the Kinect sensor. In some cases, the dashboard themes failed to appear, while certain avatars were missing.

The Kinect sensor stopped working in some occasions and a flashing green or red light was reported. Installing the new firmware will most likely solve these problems and allow you to enjoy your Xbox 360 to the max.

Microsoft notes that the new Xbox 360 firmware may require that users run the Kinect audio tuner to adjust the sensor's settings, as speech recognition engine and the noise cancellation features have undergone some enhancements, too.
