14 DAY TRIAL // ASUS started updating its Transformer Pad tablets with the TF300 earlier this month. Now it's TF300T's time to benefit from the new release.
First of all, the 495 MB update is available for download which gives users a full ROM for their flashing pleasure.
There are three SKUs available: WW, US and TW. It is of great importance to know your SKU because flashing the wrong ROM will lead to update failure.
To check the SW version, go to “Settings,” “About tablet,” “Build number.” You should now be able to see the build number CN_epad-9.X.X.X_2012xxxx, where “CN” means SKU.
No changelog has been provided with the 10.6.1.8, but the updates brought by the Android 4.2.1 include multi-user, quick settings, lockscreen widgets, and much more.
