Microsoft rolled out this month’s Patch Tuesday bulletins a few hours ago, but users who want to deploy the updates manually had to wait for the official Security Release ISO image.

As you know, this DVD5 ISO image comprises all security updates rolled out for Windows operating systems, be they XP, Vista, 7, 8, or RT.

The June 2013 Patch Tuesday cycle brought us five different bulletins supposed to fix flaws in Windows, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office.

Only one bulletin was marked as “critical” and addressed security glitches in Microsoft’s own Internet Explorer browser. All versions of IE got patched, so users are strongly recommended to deploy the released bulletins as soon as possible.

More information on Patch Tuesday is available here, while details on the IE patches can be found here.
