Good news for the owners of Intel Atom CPU-based motherboards: a new display driver is out, backed with a new revision for the audio driver, as well.

If you have a motherboard equipped with an Intel Atom D2500, D2700, N2100, N2600, or N2800 processor, and are also running Windows 7 32-bit, then this is the right driver for you. The video software reaches now version 8.14.8.1065, while the audio driver for the HD 3600 chip is now 6.14.0.3081.

There are a lot of things which have been fixed in the new display driver revision; since the list is rather long, you can read all about the fixes in the download page of the Intel GMA 3600 Series driver.

As for the new features which are added in the baseline, they consist of enabled eDP, rotation capability and support for 24bpp LVDS panel. Enjoy upgrading to the latest graphics driver version of the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 series.
