All of you rockin' gamers out there have been waiting for Guitar Hero III more than you've waited for a Metallica concert and finally here it is, in its demo version. After downloading the ISO file, you can either burn it on a CD or DVD and then access the demo section of the Dashboard. You should really use the Guitar controller for this superb title, but in case you're a hardcore fan who doesn't own one, the average
Xbox 360 joystick will do... although it will spoil the whole experience. It seems to be pouring cats and dogs these days and it's not the normal rain, nor is it a release of Nintendo's "doggie sim" adventures, but rather an invasion of 360 demos.
WWE Smackdown 08 surfaced, followed by Hellgate London and now this... It's going to be one busy weekend if you ask me. Noticed the badass trend that the three titles follow? We've got a violent title, packed with heavy rock songs and superb fights, followed by some hellish action in the sci-fi version of London and finally some artistic relaxation with the aid of those who are "about to rock".
I think that we should see more demo releases like this and the other producers should really follow Neversoft's example, who probably thought about those people who own a 360 Core and have no storage space for a 400MB demo. You might want to know that the songs included in the demo version of
Guitar Hero III are "Hit me with your best shot" performed by Pat Benatar, "Lay Down" performed by Priestess, "Even Flow" performed by Pearl Jam, "Rock You Like a Hurricane" performed by The Scorpions and "The Metal" performed by Tenacious D. You can play the songs on the "easy", "medium", "hard" or "expert mode".
It's the demo of the month for me, even surpassing that mega-acclaimed God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP demo.
