14 DAY TRIAL // Course Technology PTR, part of Cengage Learning and a leading publisher of professional, technical and reference materials, and Sideways, a software company that transforms publications into immersive experiences on the iPad, iPhone and Touch, have announced the availability of David Busch's Canon EOS Rebel T2i/550D Companion App for the iPhone and iPad.
The two companies have worked together to create an app that guides photographers through all aspects of using the Canon EOS Rebel T2i/550D camera.
The app is the first in a series based on Course Technology PTR's bestselling David Busch camera guides, and is now available for download in the iTunes App Store. It costs $14.99, it is compatible with all iOS portables, and requires firmware version 3.2 or later.
David Busch's Canon EOS Rebel T2i/550D Companion App utilizes content from Busch's Guide to Digital SLR Photography, as well as a wealth of experience working as a professional photographer for more than 20 years with in-depth knowledge of digital SLR cameras.
Key features of the app include instructional videos, photos and other interactive, multimedia elements designed to engage and inform the user, as well as a 3D guide to camera controls (iPad exclusive feature), interactive command cards that help readers navigate camera menus, instructions on Canon EOS Rebel T2i/550D set-up, fine-tuning and advanced functionality, and even instructional videos featuring the one and only David Busch.
According to today’s announcement, additional applications for other best-selling guides authored David Busch will be available in the future.
