After all the frustrating issues experienced by the Asus Transformer Prime with one of the past firmware releases, Asus surfaces a new software revision.

Funny thing that Asus has not disclosed (at the time of writing) any details related to the fixes and/or new feats included in the 9.4.2.15 firmware. Hopefully, this info will be released in a matter of hours; even more, it's to be expected that the random reboot issue will not plague this Android device.

With Asus expecting to sell more than 250,000 Transformer TF201s in Q1 2012, we are tempted to believe that their software developers are really working hard to have things fixed and the tablets running smooth with all their announced features.

Despite the initial GPS troubles and the reboot "stunts," the TF201 remains one of the most coveted Android-powered tablets of the moment, with better perspectives when merged with error-free firmware.

In case you haven't already received your firmware update, you can download the Asus Transformer Prime software 9.4.2.15 from us.
