Download sn0wbreeze 2.9.8 to Jailbreak iOS 6.1 on Windows

The new evasi0n jailbreak utility was released only a few hours ago, but the developers over at iH8sn0w moved pretty quickly to update their very own sn0wbreeze jailbreak utility to support iOS 6.1.

As you probably know by now, sn0wbreeze is a software tool running on Windows exclusively, so in case you’re using a Mac, check out this app.

sn0wbreeze 2.9.8 comes with support for iOS 5.2, 6.0 and 6.1, but the last one is only available for iPhone 3GS and A4 devices.

In addition, the release notes point to some fixed Hacktivation issues on 6.0.x and some other patches for iFaith mode.

Windows 8 users who wish to download the new sn0wbreeze utility need to deploy .NET Framework 3.5 available on Microsoft’s website.
